Refund and Return Policy for Dreamy Nails

At Dreamy Nails, we are committed to providing high-quality, custom-made nail care products and services. Our refund and return policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), ensuring your rights as a consumer are protected. Below is our updated policy:

Custom-Made and Personal Care Products

  1. Non-Returnable Items: Due to the nature of our products being custom-made and personal care items, for hygiene reasons, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty or significantly not as described.
  2. Slight Variations: Many of our products are hand-painted or custom-designed., and may have slight imperfections or differences from displayed images. This is expected due to their handmade nature, and is not considered a defect.
  3. Faulty or Misdescribed Products: If a product is defective, unsafe, or does not match its description:
    • Australian customers are entitled to remedies under the ACL (repair, replacement, or refund).
    • International customers should contact us to discuss their concerns. Remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

 

Accessories and Non-Custom Products

  1. Return Eligibility: Accessories or other non-custom products may be eligible for return if they meet the following conditions:
    1. The item is unused, in its original condition and packaging, and
    2. Proof of purchase is provided.
  2. Change of Mind: Returns for change of mind are not accepted unless explicitly stated in promotional offers.

 

Refunds and Remedies

Australian Customers:

  1. Under the ACL, you are automatically entitled to guarantees that products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.
  2. Remedies under the ACL include repair, replacement, or refund for major failures.
  3. Minor issues will be resolved through repair or replacement.

International Customers:

  1. Remedies will be offered as required by applicable local laws.
  2. Please note that enforcement of remedies may vary depending on your local jurisdiction.

 

Damaged Items Upon Delivery

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately at thedreamynails@gmail.com with photos of the issue. We will evaluate the situation and arrange for a suitable remedy (replacement or refund).

 

Appointment Cancellations

  1. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
  2. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will cause your deposit to be saved as credit towards a future appointment. Refunds can be requested by contacting us via email.
